Voltage‐programmed capillary gel electrophoresis enables rapid detection of bovine coronavirus DNA
A voltage‐programmed capillary gel electrophoresis method enables approximately 20‐fold faster analysis of bovine coronavirus compared with conventional slab gel electrophoresis. Abstract Bovine coronavirus (BCoV) is a major pathogen that causes enteric and respiratory disease in cattle and considerable economic losses in the livestock industry.

Heterologous protein secretion in Lactococcus lactis: a novel antigen delivery system
Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are Gram-positive bacteria and are generally regarded as safe (GRAS) organisms. Therefore, LAB could be used for heterologous protein secretion and they are good potential candidates as antigen delivery vehicles.

Characterization and immunogenicity of nanoparticle vaccines displaying embecovirus spike proteins
Virus‐like particle vaccines displaying spike proteins from OC43, HKU1 A, and HKU1 B were evaluated in mice for their ability to elicit antibodies against the spike proteins from OC43, HKU1 A, HKU1 B, and HKU1 C. Abstract Endemic human coronaviruses OC43 and HKU1 cause widespread respiratory infections and can be associated with severe illness in ...

Molecularly imprinted polymers based electrochemical sensors for biomarker detection in biofluids
This review systematically summarizes the evolution of molecularly imprinted polymer electrochemical sensors from bulk structures to advanced nano‐imprinted architectures. It decouples the complex matrix effects of clinical biofluids and evaluates interfacial engineering strategies for anti‐biofouling.

ABSTRACT Microglia play an important role in ischemic stroke (IS). However, the molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying microglial ferroptosis in IS remain incompletely understood. In this study, blood samples were collected from 20 IS patients and 15 healthy volunteers.

Temporal Regulation of RNA Synthesis of Bovine Coronavirus [PDF]
It has been shown with mouse hepatitis virus (MHV) and avian infectious bronchitis virus that all of the subgenomic mRNAs and genomic RNA are synthesized at the same rate throughout the viral replication cycle (Leibowitz et al., 1981; Stern and Kennedy, 1980). The viral genomic RNA gradually accumulates late in infection.
