Multimerization of a rationally designed nanobody for enhanced avidity toward Aβ42 oligomers

open access: yesProtein Science, Volume 35, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract Alzheimer's disease affects tens of millions of people worldwide and is associated with the self‐assembly of the Aβ42 peptide into amyloid aggregates. Among the species formed during this process, soluble oligomeric intermediates are the most closely linked to neurotoxicity and are therefore an attractive target for both therapeutic and ...

Investigation of rotavirus and coronavirus in neonatal diarrheic calves [PDF]

open access: yesEurasian Journal of Veterinary Sciences
Bovine rotavirus (BRV) ve bovine coronavirus (BCV) are the major causes of neonatal calf diarrhea. The objective of this sludy was to determine the prevalence of BRV and BCV In faecal samples from diarrhoeic calves.

Estimating the Economic Impact of Neonatal Calf Diarrhea Agents With Decision Tree Analysis and the Monte Carlo Simulation Model

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 5, September 2026.
This study aims to determine the economic impacts of the major agents causing diarrhoea in newborn calves using Monte Carlo simulation and decision tree analysis. According to the study results, the cost per animal was $13.7 for healthy calves without diarrhoea.

Structural Proteins of Bovine Coronavirus and Their Intracellular Processing

open access: yesJournal of General Virology, 1987
The Quebec isolate of bovine coronavirus (BCV) was found to contain four unique major structural proteins. These proteins consisted of the peplomeric protein (gp190/E2, gp100/E2), the nucleocapsid protein (p53/N) and its apparent trimer (p160/N), a family of small matrix glycoproteins (gp26/E1, gp25/E1 and p23/E1) and the putative haemagglutinin (gp124/

Salvianolic Acid B Inhibits Ferroptosis in Acute Lung Injury: Network Analysis and Experimental Validation

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 17, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This current study aimed to decipher the anti‐inflammatory, anti‐ferroptosis and pronounced lung‐protective activities of Salvianolic acid B (Sal B) by integrating network pharmacology and experimental confirmation across multiple aspects. The optimal target protein and the relevant molecular mechanisms for Sal B in the context of ALI were ...
