Clinical‐Stage Nanatinostat Triggers Productive Epstein‐Barr Virus Lytic Replication
ABSTRACT A phase 1b/2 study of the all‐oral “kick‐and‐kill” combo nanatinostat + valganciclovir (nana‐val) showed a ~40% overall response rate in patients with relapsed/refractory Epstein‐Barr virus (EBV)‐associated lymphomas. Despite the promising results in these difficult‐to‐treat cancers, there is little known about the effects of nanatinostat on ...

Bovine bacterial abortion caused by Escherichia coli infection
Abstract A 3‐year‐old, 500 kg Holstein cow aborted at 7 months of gestation. On histological evaluation of the fetal lungs, abundant neutrophils infiltrated the alveolar spaces, bronchi and bronchioles with intralesional Gram‐negative bacteria, immunolabelled with Escherichia coli immunohistochemistry.

ABSTRACT Proteolysis‐targeting chimeras (PROTACs) are heterobifunctional molecules that hijack the ubiquitin‐proteasome system to drive catalytic, sub‐stoichiometric degradation of disease‐associated proteins, offering a mechanistic advantage over occupancy‐driven inhibitors and access to ‘undruggable’ targets.

Glycoprotein B of Bovine Herpesvirus-1 Binds Heparin
Many members of the herpesvirus family have been shown to bind heparan sulfate on the surface of target cells. A previous report on bovine herpesvirus-1 (BHV-1) glycoprotein interactions indicated that only gC bound to heparin-agarose columns. In this report, we demonstrated that both gC and gB of wild-type BHV-1 bound to heparin-agarose columns and ...
