Adipocyte‐Derived Leptolin Enhances Energy Expenditure and Prevents Obesity
We identified a novel adipokine, which we named leptolin. In humans, leptolin levels in white adipose tissue were positively correlated with exercise and negatively associated with body mass index. We observed elevated leptolin in serum from athletes and lower leptolin in serum from obese individuals.

Comparisons of the Pestivirus Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus with Members of the Flaviviridae
The molecular features of bovine viral diarrhoea virus (BVDV), a member of the Pestivirus genus currently classified in the Togaviridae, were examined for characteristics resembling those of the Flaviviridae family. Like flaviviruses, BVDV possesses a single-stranded RNA genome (approx. 4.3 x 10(6) Mr) deficient in a 3' poly(A) tract.

Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.

Reproductive viral diseases caused by Bovine alphaherpesvirus 1.1 (BoAHV-1.1), Bovine gam-maherpesvirus 4 (BoGHV-4), and Bovine viral diarrhoea virus (BVDV) impose a substantial economic burden on the cattle industry, primarily through infertility ...

Cytoplasmic vacuolization responses to cytopathic bovine viral diarrhoea virus
Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV) is a positive sense, single-stranded RNA virus which exhibits two biotypes in standard cell culture systems. The cytopathic strains of this virus (cpBVDV) induce dramatic cytoplasmic vacuolization in cell cultures, while infection with the non-cytopathic (NCP-BVDV) strains produces no overt changes in the host cells ...

A Microbial Lipid‐ATP Synthase Axis Fuels NK Cell Antitumor Activity
This study focuses on the mechanism by which gut microbiota‐derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) regulate NK cell antitumor activity. B. intestinalis is identified to decrease extra‐intestinal tumor growth via its OMVs enriched in sphingosine (SP).

Properties of the bovine viral diarrhoea virus replicase in extracts of infected MDBK cells
An assay for the bovine viral diarrhoea virus (BVDV) replicase was developed using extracts from BVDV-infected cells. The replicase activity was maximal approximately 8 h post-infection as measured by the generation of a genomic length radiolabelled RNA.

m6A‐Mediated Glycolysis by IL‐37 Drives T Cell Metabolic Reprogramming to Regulate Colitis
This study identifies an IL‐37/SIGIRR‐METTL14 regulatory axis that suppresses global m6A modification in CD4+ T cells. IL‐37 signaling, mediated through SIGIRR, inhibits IRAK4 and JNK phosphorylation, leading to downregulation of the methyltransferase METTL14.
