Poisson brackets and commutator brackets. I [PDF]

open access: bronzeProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1977
A previous result, that for certain problems in Hamiltonian mechanics the commutator bracket is determined by the Poisson bracket, is here extended to include certain problems in Hamiltonian field theory.

Comparison of the frictional resistance between archwire and different bracket system: An in vitro study

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Bioallied Sciences, 2014
Background and Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the frictional resistance generated by conventional stainless steel, radiance ceramic bracket, self-ligating and composite brackets using a 0.019 × 0.025 stainless steel straight length ...

Extended corner symmetry, charge bracket and Einstein’s equations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We develop the covariant phase space formalism allowing for non-vanishing flux, anomalies, and field dependence in the vector field generators. We construct a charge bracket that generalizes the one introduced by Barnich and Troessaert and includes ...

Barnich–Troessaert bracket as a Dirac bracket on the covariant phase space [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and quantum gravity, 2021
The Barnich–Troessaert bracket is a proposal for a modified Poisson bracket on the covariant phase space for general relativity. The new bracket allows us to compute charges, which are otherwise not integrable. Yet there is a catch.

A Lie Bracket for the Momentum Kernel [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 2020
We prove results for the study of the double copy and tree-level colour/kinematics duality for tree-level scattering amplitudes using the properties of Lie polynomials.

Bracket Failure in Orthodontic Patients: The Incidence and the Influence of Different Factors

open access: yesBioMed Research International, 2022
Failure of brackets is a common problem in orthodontics. This affects the treatment time, cost, and compliance of the patient. This study was conducted to estimate the bracket failure rate and the related factors for the long term. Methodology.

Scanning Accuracy of Bracket Features and Slot Base Angle in Different Bracket Materials by Four Intraoral Scanners: An In Vitro Study

open access: yesMaterials, 2021
The accurate expression of bracket prescription is important for successful orthodontic treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of digital scan images of brackets produced by four intraoral scanners (IOSs) when scanning the surface ...

On the bracket of integrable derivations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2021
We prove that any multi-variate Hasse-Schmidt derivation can be decomposed in terms of substitution maps and uni-variate Hasse-Schmidt derivations. As a consequence we prove that the bracket of two $m$-integrable derivations is also $m$-integrable, for $m$ a positive integer or infinity.
