A Note on the Symplectic Structure on the Dressing Group in the sinh--Gordon Model

open access: yes, 1996
We analyze the symplectic structure on the dressing group in the \shG\, model by calculating explicitly the Poisson bracket $\{g\x g\}$ where $g$ is the \dg\, element which creates a generic one soliton solution from the vacuum.

Effect of bracket type on halitosis, periodontal status, and microbial colonization.

open access: yesAngle Orthodontist, 2014
OBJECTIVE To determine the effect of bracket type on halitosis, periodontal status, and microbial colonization. MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty-six patients scheduled for fixed orthodontic treatment (age 11-16 years) were selected from the orthodontic ...

Dual‐Selective Terahertz‐Nanodisc Metasurfaces for Exploring Neurotransmitter Dynamics beyond Spectral Limitations

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Observation and detection of neurotransmitter dynamics in aqueous system has been hurdle for analytical fields due to its weak and reversible nature. A terahertz‐nanodisc metasurface which implements comprehensive detection over conformational change and selective sensing is introduced. Utilizing the THz regime photonics and biomimetic environment with

Influence of bracket-slot design on the forces released by superelastic nickel-titanium alignment wires in different deflection configurations.

open access: yesAngle Orthodontist, 2014
OBJECTIVE To evaluate how different bracket-slot design characteristics affect the forces released by superelastic nickel-titanium (NiTi) alignment wires at different amounts of wire deflection.

On Kauffman bracket skein modules at roots of unity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We reprove and expand results of Bonahon and Wong on central elements of the Kauffman bracket skein modules at root of 1 and on the existence of the Chebyshev homomorphism, using elementary skein methods.

Bracket Induction for Lambek Calculus with Bracket Modalities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Relativisation involves dependencies which, although unbounded, are constrained with respect to certain island domains. The Lambek calculus L can provide a very rudimentary account of relativisation limited to unbounded peripheral extraction; the Lambek calculus with bracket modalities Lb can further condition this account according to island domains ...

Industry‐Compatible Fully Laminated Perovskite‐CIGS Tandem Solar Cells with Co‐Evaporated Perovskite

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, a highly efficient bilayer methylammonium lead iodide perovskite is fabricated using a scalable co‐evaporation technique. This strategy enhances the film's stability, allowing the deposition of a tin oxide buffer layer via atomic layer deposition without damaging the perovskite.

Efficient and Realistic Brain Simulation: A Review and Design Guide for Memristor‐Based Approaches

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Memristor‐based emulation of Hodgkin‐Huxley neuron models is investigated, by defining the ideal device characteristics needed for accurate ion‐channel representation and reviewing existing works targeting memristive replication of biological realistic neural behavior.

Effect of the bracket types on microbial colonization and periodontal status.

open access: yesAngle Orthodontist, 2014
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect of different bracket types on the levels of Streptococcus mutans (SM) and Lactobacillus (LB) in saliva, in plaque, and on the periodontal condition.

The Role of Theoretical Calculations for INVEST Systems: Complementarity Between Theory and Experiments and Rationalization of the Results

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Theoretical lessons are key for molecules presenting an inverted singlet‐triplet excited state (e.g. S1 and T1) energy difference. This perspective provides a snapshot of the role played by calculations in last years, not only to anticipate experimental findings but also for driving high‐throughput virtual screenings, as well as the main challenge to ...
