Small, EarlyView.The emerging BaCu2Se2 semiconductor compound is synthesized in combinatorial thin film libraries for fast screening of its fundamental properties related to the application in sustainable energy sources. Ba‐rich and Cu‐rich compositions are explored.

Alteration of X‐Ray Emission Band Spectrum Under Bragg Diffraction
X-Ray Spectrometry, EarlyView.ABSTRACT We use a Zr/Si multilayer presenting a gradient of period to probe the shape of the Si L2,3 emission band (maximum around 92 eV) in and out of Bragg conditions. The sample was prepared by magnetron sputtering and its reflectance measured in the photon energy range of interest with synchrotron radiation.

Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.The synthesis and crystal structure of [Sr(SeC2H)2(NH3)2] are described, the first alkaline earth metal compound with the recently discovered –SeC2H anion. The title compound releases NH3 even under ambient conditions, so its crystal structure had to be determined from moderately resolved X‐ray powder diffraction data.
