Bragg Grating Cavity Design Using Bragg Gratings
The aim of the experiment is to design Bragg Grating Cavity design (to show Fabry Perot effects) for High Quality Factor. The basic Bragg Grating design used in this project consists of two identical Bragg Gratings and a cavity between the two Gratings. Bragg devices are first simulated using Transfer Matrix Model (TMM) on MATLAB.

Bioresorbable optical fiber Bragg gratings [PDF]
We demonstrate, for the first time, an inscription and wet dissolution study of Bragg gratings in a bioresorbable calcium-phosphate glass optical fiber. Bragg gratings, with average refractive index changes of 5.8×10-4, were inscribed using 193 nm excimer laser radiation.

High power surface emitting terahertz laser with hybrid second- and fourth-order Bragg gratings
Proper design of the gratings can enhance the efficiency of distributed-feedback and quantum cascade lasers. Here, Jin et al. use a hybrid grating system that superposes second- and fourth-order Bragg gratings and achieve high radiative efficiency and a ...

Optical solitons in fibre Bragg gratings with third- and fourth-order dispersive reflectivities
. For the first time in the field of nonlinear optics, we address cubic–quartic solitons appearing in the fibre Bragg gratings with dispersive reflectivity for four different cases of nonlinear refractive-index structures.

Polarization independent Bragg gratings using tilted subwavelength grating waveguide Bragg gratings
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a polarization independent subwavelength grating (SWG) waveguide Bragg grating (WBG) by using an SWG waveguide with tilted segments. By optimizing the tilting angle and other geometry parameters, such as the width and the length of the loading segments used to create the BG, we can obtain a zero birefringence ...
