CAR‐Engineered Cell Therapies Beyond Cancer: Reprogramming Fibrosis and Immune‐Mediated Inflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CAR‐engineered cell therapies are expanding beyond cancer toward immune resetting, pathological‐cell clearance, matrix remodeling, and microenvironmental reprogramming in autoimmune, inflammatory, and fibrotic diseases. This Review compares CAR‐T, CAR‐macrophage, and CAR‐NK platforms and proposes controllable spatiotemporal reprogramming to align ...

MEKK3 bridges gut-brain communication and cerebral cavernous malformation pathogenesis

open access: yesCell Death Discovery
Cerebral cavernous malformation (CCM) is a condition affecting the brain vasculature, characterized by endothelial dysfunction and abnormal vascular structure. In recent years, the gut-brain axis has emerged as a significant regulatory factor influencing

Transient Sleep Deprivation Induces Persistent Auditory Neuropathy via ROS‐Initiated Neuroinflammation and BK Channel Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sleep disturbance severity closely tracks hearing loss in a clinical cohort, yet the mechanistic link remains unclear. Acute sleep deprivation is shown to trigger transient cochlear oxidative stress that switches into a self‐sustaining neuroinflammatory state, suppressing BK channels and causing irreversible synaptopathy.
