[Radiotherapy for brain stem neoplasms in children].
Voprosy onkologii, 2001The immediate and short-term results of radiotherapy of brain stem tumors in 24 children were evaluated. All the patients were able to sustain treatment due to adjuvant support with dehydrating and hormonal drugs, and beneficial clinical effect was recorded in 80%. [Neoplasms of the brain stem: clinico-pathologic correlations].
Rivista di neurologia, 1984We report here the clinico-pathological data about 4 patients with brainstem tumors. Clinical symptoms were variable but allowed a correct topical diagnosis. On the other hand, all the neuroradiological examinations, especially CT scan of the brain, resulted always negative or without diagnostic value.
