Transient thermal response of solid, pinned and highly porous ventilated brake discs [PDF]
During braking, heat is generated due to frictional contact between the brake pads and the brake disc (rotor) of a vehicle. At elevated temperatures, brake fade may occur, leading to potentially catastrophic brake failure in a vehicle.

Bottom‐Up Programming of Cell States in Cancer Organoids with Defined Synthetic Adhesion Cues
A bottom‐up biomaterial platform is developed to program transcriptomic states in pancreatic cancer organoids by tuning adhesion cues within synthetic matrices. By combining a Design of Experiments framework with multiobjective optimization, matrix compositions are identified that enrich specific cellular programs like EMT.

INSPECTING A BUMP TEST IN THE MAINTENANCE OF A 1200-CC DAIHATSU SIGRA DISC BRAKE
A motorized vehicle needs a system that can not only reduce the speed and stop the vehicle but can also serve as a safety tool and ensure a safe distribution which is called a braking system. It is important to conduct maintenance of a disc brake that is

Nonlocomotory Robotic Strategies for Dynamic Rotation Control in Terrestrial Robots: A Review
Terrestrial robots increasingly require rapid body rotation to maintain stability and agility in complex environments. This review shows nonlocomotory rotational control strategies that operate without ground contact, including reaction wheels, tails, bars, limbs, and thrusters.

VISUALISASI DISTRIBUSI PANAS PADA DISK BRAKE SEMAR-T MENGGUNAKAN ANSYS CFX [PDF]
This paper examines the phenomenon of heat distribution on the disk brake while braking. Heat distributions on brake disk are caused by changes a kinetic energy to mechanical energy.
