Effect of brazing process on microstructure and properties of brazed diamond interface

open access: yesJin'gangshi yu moliao moju gongcheng
ObjectivesDiamond tools are widely used in various fields. Copper-based brazing materials are used for brazing diamond tools. In response to the problems of low-temperature phase flow and low bonding strength of copper-based brazing materials at high ...

Copper coating of carbon steel by a furnace brazing process using brass as the braze [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
A ship building grade of carbon steel has been coated with copper by a furnace brazing process starting from a brass braze. An argon protective atmosphere was used to preventoxidation of the steel.

Experimental investigations of TiAl-brazes for ceramic joining

open access: yes, 2022
S.44-49Ti-Al intermetallics were developed as light weight high temperature alloy. The phase diagram of Ti-Al is well known by several papers [1]. Particularly the -phase of TiAl is preferred because of its ductility and mechanical strength [2, 3]

Analysis and development of a brazing method to weld carbon fiber-reinforced poly ether ketone ketone with amorphous PEKK

open access: yesAdvanced Manufacturing: Polymer & Composites Science, 2022
In this study, a brazing method for carbon fiber-reinforced poly ether ketone ketone (CF-PEKK) is developed that allows welding below the melting temperature of the single components. During the manufacturing of CF-PEKK laminates, a pseudo-amorphous PEKK

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 17, 9 September 2026.
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.
