Novel BRD2::NUTM1 Fusion in NUT Carcinoma With Exceptional Response to Chemotherapy: A Case Report
We present the first known case of a patient with BRD2::NUTM1-driven NUT carcinoma. A 59-year-old woman presented with poorly differentiated squamous cell lung cancer metastatic to the pleura.

Osteocyte heterogeneity in bone remains poorly understood. This study identifies six distinct osteocyte subsets in mice, revealing a key subpopulation (BHR‐Ocys) that drives bone loss in osteoporosis. BHR‐Ocys promote osteoclast‐mediated resorption via a novel Sema5a‐Plxna1 signaling axis.

Glioblastoma Mesenchymal Transition and Invasion are Dependent on a NF-κB/BRD2 Chromatin Complex
Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) represents the most aggressive subtype of glioma, noted for its profound invasiveness and molecular heterogeneity. The mesenchymal (MES) transcriptomic subtype is frequently associated with therapy resistance, rapid recurrence, and increased tumor-associated macrophages. Notably, activation

Seizure threshold is depicted in µl of flurothyl necessary to induce specific seizure type (Mean±S.E.M.). (A) In females, tonic-clonic seizures in Brd2+/- mice had significantly lower threshold than in Brd2+/+ littermate controls.

BRD2 impedes iPSC reprogramming by regulating lipogenesis and matrisome
Abstract Induction of human pluripotent stem cells (HiPSCs) from somatic cells encounters significant barriers, which remain poorly understood. Lipids are fundamental cellular molecules with many essential roles. However, lipid roles in reprogramming are unknown.

Brd4 is essential for IL-1β-induced inflammation in human airway epithelial cells.
BackgroundChronic inflammation and oxidative stress are key features of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Oxidative stress enhances COPD inflammation under the control of the pro-inflammatory redox-sensitive transcription factor nuclear ...
