Divergence Study in Groundnut Breeding Lines

In the present study D2 analysis was done. The advance breeding lines showed considerable amount of diversity for the morphological traits. On the basis of average D2, haulm yield per plant contributed maximum divergence followed by pod yield per plant, kernel yield and kernel number per plant. Shelling percent contributed least divergence.

A total of 67 barley cultivars and breeding lines were tested for leaf rust resistance were tested with eight differential isolates. These isolates originated from IHAR Radzików collection and were chosen according to their virulence spectra.

Beta1 subunits enable fentanyl‐induced BK channel activation and opioid regulation of cerebral artery diameter

During the current opioid crisis, the majority of overdose deaths are attributed to ultra‐potent synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl. While fentanyl exerts its action via opioid receptors, we propose that potassium channels in the brain blood vessels may also sense fentanyl.
