Experimental study of brushless generator with integrated exciter
The paper studies an integrated starter-generator based on a synchronous machine with PM excitation (ISG), used to start an internal combustion engine (ICE) of an autonomous energy facility or vehicle and supply electric energy to its consumers. The purpose of the work is to obtain a mathematical model of the starting mode in the form of a system of ...

Dispersion Inhibits Thermal Mitigation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilms on Self‐Heating Surfaces
Thermal mitigation of biofilm infections is promising in the lab. Clinical translation requires heat to be delivered from the implant surface while leaving surrounding tissue cooler. This study shows that bacteria may rapidly and reversibly disperse into these cooler areas, reducing treatment efficacy.

CARRIER SIGNAL INJECTION BASED SENSORLESS CONTROL OF PERMANENT MAGNET BRUSHLESS AC MACHINES [PDF]
This thesis is focused on the carrier signal injection based sensorless control of Permanent Magnet (PM) Brushless AC (BLAC) machines. Based on the machine saliency property, carrier signal injection based sensorless techniques have been well developed ...

A Brushless Resonant Exciter Concept for Radial Flux Motors
This paper proposes a novel brushless electrically excited synchronous machine that employs inductive wireless transfer of rotor excitation power through the air gap. The magnetic parts of the machine fulfill the excitation function on top of the torque production, thusly achieving similar compactness as brushed electrically excited synchronous ...

This study presents an experimental Proof‐of‐Concept of an electrified CO2${\rm CO}_2$ loop that combines DAC and GA‐plasma conversion. Atmospheric CO2${\rm CO}_2$ is captured and solidified as CaCO3${\rm CaCO}_3$, followed by plasma‐based calcination to regenerate CaO and with the possibility to split CO2${\rm CO}_2$ into CO for syngas synthesis. This

This paper investigates the application of Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control (FCS‐MPC) for Brushless DC (BLDC) motor speed regulation under dynamic references, including sinusoidal, square, triangular, and sawtooth signals. A novel cost function is introduced to evaluate switching frequency effects, and the influence of different weighting ...

Transfer Function Model of a Brushless Exciter
Brushless exciters are widely used in power stations to furnish the excitation current for the main alternators. These exciters are maintenance free and possess high gain and forcing margin. Transfer function models available for such exciters are somewhat complicated and deal with few variables.
