Effects of In0.82Ga0.18As/InP Double Buffers Design on the Microstructure of the In0.82G0.18As/InP Heterostructure

open access: yesCrystals, 2017
In order to reduce the dislocation density and improve the performance of high indium content In0.82Ga0.18As films, the design of double buffer layers has been introduced into the In0.82Ga0.18As/InP heterostructure.

Buffer layer dependence of magnetoresistance effects in Co2Fe0.4Mn0.6Si/MgO/Co50Fe50 tunnel junctions

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2018
Buffer layer dependence of tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) effects was investigated in Co2Fe0.4Mn0.6Si (CFMS)/MgO/Co50Fe50 magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs).

Facile Preparation of Four-Layer MoS2 Nanosheets and Their Application to Organic Light-Emitting Diode

open access: yesNanoscale Research Letters, 2022
High-quality four-layer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheets with lateral dimension of about 11 µm were prepared by ultrasonic treatment of MoS2 powder with assistance of 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) solvent.

Selectively Enhanced UV-A Photoresponsivity of a GaN MSM UV Photodetector with a Step-Graded AlxGa1−xN Buffer Layer

open access: yesSensors, 2017
The UV-to-visible rejection ratio is one of the important figure of merits of GaN-based UV photodetectors. For cost-effectiveness and large-scale fabrication of GaN devices, we tried to grow a GaN epitaxial layer on silicon substrate with complicated ...

Towards high-efficiency CZTS solar cell through buffer layer optimization

open access: yesMaterials for Renewable and Sustainable Energy, 2019
Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS)-based solar cells show a promising performance in the field of sunlight-based energy production system. To increase the performance of CZTS-based solar cell, buffer layer optimization is still an obstacle.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Dynamic conductive property and mechanism of buffer tape in HV XLPE cables

open access: yes电力工程技术, 2022
Ablation of the buffer layer in high voltage cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cables has been the attractive type of cable failure. The ablation of buffer layer commonly takes place under the pressure and moisture.

Buffer layers in heterostructures

open access: yesModern Electronic Materials, 2017
This work deals with the problem of choosing buffer layer architectures in the development of standard heterostructure models with controlled levels of mechanical stresses and low defect densities in the bulk and at layer boundaries. It has been found that these parameters depend on the quality of the source wafer surface, the wafer preparation ...

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Infrared spectroscopic analysis of ablative gases in the buffer layer of high-voltage cables

open access: yes电力工程技术
Ablative defects in the buffer layer of high-voltage cables are important causes of power cable failures. Buffer layer ablation releases gases, and some components of these gases and their concentrations can characterize the degree of buffer layer ...
