A training workbench based on transient building models for creating intelligent energy operators
The development of intelligent control-oriented solutions for building energy systems is a promising research field. The development of effective systems relies on seldom available large data sets or on simulation environments, either for training or ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Energy Compensation Model between a Net Zero Energy Building and a School Building
In the European Union, the concept of Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB) has been known for many years, defined as a building with a remarkably high energy performance whose yearly needs are totally compensated by renewable energy sources.

Enhancing building energy efficiency using a random forest model: A hybrid prediction approach
The building envelope considerably influences building energy consumption. To enhance the energy efficiency of buildings, this paper proposes an approach to predict building energy consumption based on the design of the building envelope.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
