Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

A diagnostic Bayesian network method to diagnose building energy performance
In this paper the implementation of a diagnostic Bayesian network (DBN) method is presented which helps to overcome the problem that automated energy performance diagnosis in building energy management systems (BEMS) are seldom applied in practice ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Seismic Risk Analysis of Government Buildings in the City of Tembilahan using FEMA P-58
Research in estimating losses and harm experienced by structures in the high seismic zone had been conducted in previous studies. Yet there is limited study carried out in low-moderate seismic areas.

Application of CFD in building performance simulation for the outdoor environment
This paper provides a brief, non-exhaustive overview of the status of the application of CFD in building performance simulation for the outdoor environment. It focuses on four topics: (1) pedestrian wind environment around buildings; (2) wind-driven rain

Optimal balance between energy demand and onsite energy generation for robust net zero energy buildings considering future scenarios [PDF]
Net-zero energy buildings have usually very low energy demand, and consequently heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are designed and controlled to meet this low energy demand.
