Bulk-Driven Nonequilibrium Phase Transitions in a Mesoscopic Ring [PDF]
We study a periodic one-dimensional exclusion process composed of a driven and a diffusive part. In a mesoscopic limit where both dynamics compete we identify bulk-driven phase transitions. We employ mean-field theory complemented by Monte-Carlo simulations to characterize the emerging non-equilibrium steady states.

A 0.3-V 8.5-μ a Bulk-Driven OTA
A bulk-driven operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) suitable for ultralow-power and ultralow-voltage applications is described. The amplifier exploits local positive feedback in the first stage to increase its transconductance. The OTA entails a single Miller capacitor for frequency compensation, thus saving area occupation and improving ...

Driven reconnection and bursty bulk flows [PDF]
The energetics of driven magnetic reconnections induced by the deformation of the magnetopause boundary due to the solar wind-magnetosphere interaction are studied. The bursty type reconnection ensues due to the forcing of the magnetopause boundary

A 1.9 nW, Sub-1 V, 542 pA/V Linear Bulk-Driven OTA with 154 dB CMRR for Bio-Sensing Applications
In this paper, a new technique for improvement on the DC voltage gain, while keeping the high-linearity in symmetrical operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) bulk-driven (BD) topology is proposed.

Brane detectors of a dynamical phase transition in a driven CFT
We show that a dynamical transition from a non-heating to a heating phase of a periodic $SL(2,\mathbb{R})$ driven two dimensional conformal field theory (CFT) with a large central charge is perceived as a first order transition by a bulk brane embedded ...

A 0.3V Rail-to-Rail Three-Stage OTA With High DC Gain and Improved Robustness to PVT Variations
This paper presents a novel 0.3V rail-to-rail body-driven three-stage operational transconductance amplifier (OTA). The proposed OTA architecture allows achieving high DC gain in spite of the bulk-driven input.
