A Tannakian approach to dimensional reduction of principal bundles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Let $P$ be a parabolic subgroup of a connected simply connected complex semisimple Lie group $G$. Given a compact K\"ahler manifold $X$, the dimensional reduction of $G$-equivariant holomorphic vector bundles over $X\times G/P$ was carried out by the first and third authors.

Clifford structures, bilegendrian surfaces, and extrinsic curvature [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We use Clifford algebras to construct a unified formalism for studying constant extrinsic curvature immersed surfaces in riemannian and semi-riemannian $3$-manifolds in terms of immersed bilegendrian surfaces in their unitary bundles. As an application, we provide full classifications of both complete and compact immersed bilegendrian surfaces in the ...

His-Purkinje conduction system pacing and atrioventricular node ablation in treatment of persistent atrial fibrillation refractory to multiple ablation procedures: A case report

open access: yesSAGE Open Medical Case Reports, 2023
In patients with symptomatic atrial fibrillation refractory to optimal medical therapy, atrioventricular node ablation followed by permanent pacemaker implantation is an effective treatment option.

Some families of big and stable bundles on $K3$ surfaces and on their Hilbert schemes of points [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
Here we investigate meaningful families of vector bundles on a very general polarized $K3$ surface $(X,H)$ and on the corresponding Hyper--Kaehler variety given by the Hilbert scheme of points $X^{[k]}:= {\rm Hilb}^k(X)$, for any integer $k \geqslant 2$. In particular, we prove results concerning bigness and stability of such bundles.

Two preferential conducting pathways within the bundle of His of the dog heart.

open access: yesThe Japanese Journal of Physiology, 1975
An isolated preparation formed exclusively of the specific conducting tissue of the A. V. node, bundle of His and bundle branches was dissected from the dog heart and studied using the microelectrode technique.

On the stability of syzygy bundles [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
We are concerned with the problem of the stability of the syzygy bundles associated to base point free vector spaces of forms of the same degree d on the projective space of dimension n. We deduce directly, from Mark Green's vanishing theorem for Koszul cohomology, that any such bundle is stable if his rank is sufficiently high. With a similar argument,

Generalized Cheeger-Gromoll Metrics and the Hopf map [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
We show, using two different approaches, that there exists a family of Riemannian metrics on the tangent bundle of a two-sphere, which induces metrics of constant curvature on its unit tangent bundle. In other words, given such a metric on the tangent bundle of a two-sphere, the Hopf map is identified with a Riemannian submersion from the universal ...

Left Bundle Branch Block–Induced Cardiomyopathy in a Transplanted Heart Treated With His Bundle Pacing

open access: yesJACC: Case Reports, 2020
A 70-year-old male with prior orthotopic heart transplant developed left bundle branch block followed by new-onset left ventricular systolic dysfunction.

Concealed WPW Syndrome with Longitudinal Dissociation in the His Bundle Exhibiting Five Different Electrocardiographic Waveforms During Tachycardia

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, 2005
We examined a patient with concealed WPW syndrome who exhibited five different electrocardiographic waveforms during tachycardia. With the intracardiac electrogram, all tachycardia were artrioventricular reciprocating tachycardia with retrograde ...

Primer implante de electrodo de estimulación selectiva del haz de His en Colombia: Reporte de dos casos First implantation of selective his bundle pacing in Colombia: Report of two cases
