He multiple‐attribute method aids management decisions in in ovo nutrition. In ovo amino acid administration reduces embryo mortality risk late in incubation. In ovo injection of 0.55% L‐tryptophan on day 14 improves broiler growth. In ovo 0.55% L‐tryptophan significantly influenced growth metrics at 21 days.

GROSS MORPHOMETRICAL STUDY ON BURSA OF FABRICIUS IN DEVELOPING BRONZE TURKEY (MELEAGRIS GALOPAVO) [PDF]
The aim of the study was an evaluation of the age related development of bronze turkey's bursa of Fabricius. The obtained data gave information about the standard actual values of the metric parameters in the investigated organ.

Continuous green LED lighting during incubation altered broiler development by reducing heart and hatch weight, shortening incubation time, and impairing post‐hatch growth and jejunal morphology without affecting hatchability. ABSTRACT Background In recent years, research has increasingly focused on the role of light exposure in stimulating embryonic ...

Although HFCS negatively affected performance both alone and when mixed with citric acid, citric acid alone positively affects performance. In addition, HFCS together with citric acid increased serum TCHO and HDL‐CHO levels. Although HFCS and citric acid do not have antioxidant effects as both mixtures and alone, it has been determined that citric acid

Nanoparticles, such as green cobalt nanoparticles, are easier to pass through cell membranes in animals and interact rapidly with biological systems. The results indicated that BNCo supplementation at 200 ppm/kg diet produced the best overall performance, demonstrating its potential as an innovative additive for broiler diets.

The Bursa of Fabricius: The Evolution of a Discovery
It has been a joy these past 40 yr to have traveled the "Bursal Road"--a road we helped construct and whose route allowed us to make a variety of observations that contributed either to basic science or indirectly or directly to the role of the bursa of Fabricius in the B cell repertoire.

Dietary supplementation by vegetable oil (VO) plays an important role in lipid metabolism and its body deposition. Lower liver relative weight of broiler chickens fed a diet supplying 12% of ME requirement through VO suggests that VO could cause an inhibition of lipogenesis. ABSTRACT Background Supplementing broiler diets with non‐starch polysaccharide

Corn processed at 55°C when used in mash form finishing broilers diet, improved Ca utilisation and FCR and decreased the Clostridium count in ileal contents. The addition of exogenous enzyme to the mash diet containing conditioned corn at 70°C led to an improvement in FCR. The processing of corn improved the height of intestinal villi.
