Comparative Study of Gas and Liquid Flow in Packed Beds Using Phase‐Contrast MRI
Chemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.This work presents applications of phase‐contrast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to investigate fluid flow fields and temperature in packed beds. Comparison of ethane (C2H6) gas flow with that of water flow is done at similar flow conditions. The temperature of water is also measured using MRI.

Nickel‐Catalyzed LiF‐Rich Interface for Silicon Anodes
ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.Modulating the decomposition of F‐containing species in the electrolyte to form LiF‐rich SEI has been proven to be an effective strategy for interface optimization. Herein, through nickel‐catalyzed pyrolysis of carbon precursors on silicon, graphene‐like carbon was formed to construct three‐dimensional conductive networks.

It was shown that diffusion process in butadien-acrylonitrylic vulcanizates isn't stationary.
