Research Study Concerning the Structural Design of a Drone Using 3D Print Technology
ABSTRACT The frame of a drone serves as support to hold in place all the key components of the drone, such as the battery, controller board, motors, and all the modules needed for different projects. In the industry, the drone frame is CNC machined from a block of material, or in some cases it is made of composite materials, carbon fiber, and ...

ABSTRACT This study presents a comparative investigation of the low‐velocity impact behavior of thin plates made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), polylactic acid (PLA), and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Plates with nominal thicknesses of 0.5 and 5 mm were subjected to standardized drop‐weight impact tests to evaluate their energy ...

Balancing Chain Transfer Agent Transport and Reaction in Emulsion Polymerization
The interrelationship between chain transfer agent mass transfer and reaction in emulsion polymerization is examined. Three parameters describing these phenomena are proposed. The probability of mass transfer‐ rather than reaction‐limitation for each CTA‐monomer pair is assessed.

This study investigates the use of waste slate dust as a filler in recycled PET. Incorporating up to 20 wt% slate dust caused no filler‐induced molecular degradation, increased the crystallization temperature, thermal conductivity, and storage modulus. ABSTRACT Recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) is widely considered a sustainable alternative to
