RAFT Copolymerization of DMAEA and AETAC Toward Charge‐Shifting Copolymers With Tunable Heparin Complexation

Copolymers based on charge‐shifting (DMAEA) and permanently charged (AETAC) cationic acrylates were copolymerized via the RAFT process to achieve polycations with well‐defined composition. Moderate content of AETAC did not affect hydrolysis rates but significantly enhanced heparin binding.
