Polarographic Investigations of Some Metal Monocarhoxylato Complexes. III. Monocarhoxylato Complexes of Cadmium and Copper [PDF]

open access: yes, 1963
The stability constants of cadmium and copper monocarboxylato complexes have been determined by the polarog raphic method in water solutions of a constant ionic strength 2 and a constant monocarboxylic acid concentration of 2 M.

Characterization and Variability Analysis of Volatile Metabolites From Acer saccharum Leaves From Québec Region

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Volatile secondary metabolites in plants can serve as valuable biomarkers for the plant's health, stress response, and pest or disease detection. We have investigated the volatilome of Acer saccharum (sugar maple) leaves using two complementary extraction techniques: headspace‐solid phase micro‐extraction coupled with gas chromatography‐mass ...

A Combination of Two‐Enzyme System and Enzyme Engineering Improved the Activity of a New PET Hydrolase Identified from Soil Bacterial Genome

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
A novel PET hydrolase, bbPET0069, was identified from a soil microbial genome. bbPET0069 and CALB showed remarkable synergy in PET degradation. Using surface feature analysis, PET degradation activity of bbPET0069 was significantly improved. This combination of a two‐enzyme system and surface feature analysis holds promise for enhancing emerging PET ...

Robust Artificial Polyenzyme for Recyclable Pickering Emulsion and Cascade Synthesis

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Artificial polyenzyme (ArPoly) forms amphiphilic proteinpolymer conjugates that stabilize Pickering emulsions with tunable interfacial properties for biocatalysis. These emulsions enable efficient and robust single‐step reactions, multi‐step biocatalytic cascades, and whole‐cell catalysis.

What Makes a Branched Aromatic Compound a Crystallization Chaperone? Insights from a Comparison of Three Organic Scaffolds

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The ability to accommodate guest molecules of many different shapes in crystal lattices has been tested for teraaryl derivatives of porphyrin, spirobifluorene, and adamantane. The latter appears to offer the most favorable properties, which may be at least partially due to low activation barriers for the interconversion of rotamers.

Identification of Anoikis‐Related Subgroups and Prognosis Model in Colon Cancer

open access: yesCancer Nexus, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Anoikis represents a distinct type of programmed cell death that serves a critical function in tumor development and metastatic. Despite its significance, there remains a notable gap in comprehensive studies that explore the role of Anoikis specifically within the context of colon cancer (CC). Thus, it becomes imperative to pinpoint
