Promalin ve Uç Alma Uygulamalarının İki Doğal Şimşir Türünde Besin Mobilizasyonu Üzerine Etkileri

open access: yesDüzce University Faculty of Forestry Journal of Forestry

Metabarcoding of Pollen Carried by Syrphids Reveals Novel Plant–Pollinator Interactions in a Protected Natural Area and Agricultural Sites

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.
Using DNA metabarcoding, this study investigates pollen transported by syrphids (Syrphidae) in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park and agricultural sites in Northern Italy. The analysis reveals a high diversity of visited plant taxa, including previously undocumented plant–pollinator interactions.

Exploiting Native Biodiversity for Invasive Species Management: The Case of Exorista larvarum as a Natural Enemy of the Invasive Box Tree Moth Cydalima perspectalis

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.
The investigations evaluated the performance of the native parasitoid Exorista larvarum (L.) on last instar Cydalima perspectalis (Walker) larvae, using the factitious host Galleria mellonella (L.) as a control. Laboratory bioassays were conducted using no‐choice and choice (1:1 and 5:5) experimental designs.

Current Status and the Last Locations of Turkey’s Native Buxus species (Buxus sempervirens L. and Buxus balearica Lam.) Under Threats

open access: yesUluslararası Tarım ve Yaban Hayatı Bilimleri Dergisi, 2022
We investigated the current status and the last locations of Turkey’s native Buxus species under threats especially with boxwood moth (Cydalima perspectalis) in detail throught the country for the first time. Within the scope of the studies, detailed field and survey studies were carried out to determine the latest status of existing boxwood ...

Generation Rather Than Sex Shapes Wing Morphology in Cydalima perspectalis (Lepidoptera, Crambidae): Insights From Geometric Morphometrics and Climate‐Based Projections

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.
An integrated framework combining geometric morphometrics and ecological niche modeling was applied to Cydalima perspectalis to assess intergenerational morphological variation, test sexual dimorphism, and predict future distribution under climate scenarios. Wing shape effectively discriminated between generations but not between sexes.

Effect of vermicompost application on the development of plant properties and root architecture analysis with machine learning in Buxus herlandii

open access: yesFolia Horticulturae
The effects of liquid vermicompost (commercial product) on nutrient content, root architecture, and plant development were studied at doses of 0, 10, 20, 40, and 80 mL · pot−1. Significant increases in plant height (3.5%), shoot length (25%), leaf width (

Reciprocal relations shape cultural landscapes: Women's environmental stewardship in Ait Bouguemez (High Atlas, Morocco)

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 8, Issue 8, Page 2847-2865, August 2026.
Abstract Mountain social–ecological systems encompass steep ecological gradients and diverse cultural practices, yet the relative roles of these factors in shaping mountain landscapes remain underexplored. In particular, the knowledge and practices of women in coproducing biocultural landscapes are often invisible in the academic literature. In the Ait

Effects of Azotobacter spp., mycorrhizal fungi and shade treatments on plant growth and chlorophyll content in boxwoods plants

open access: yesActa Scientiarum Polonorum: Hortorum Cultus
In this study, two important commercial species, Buxus microphilla and B. herlandii, were evaluated. People do not want polluting and toxic fertilizers used to cultivate the plants they use for nutrition, and they do not want the plants they use as ...
