Role of Platelet C-Type Lectin-Like Receptor 2 in Promoting Lung Metastasis in Osteosarcoma
Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, 2020ABSTRACT The overall prognosis of patients with sarcoma-based cancers has changed little in the last 20 years. There is an urgent need to investigate the metastatic potential of these tumors and to develop anti-metastatic drugs. It is becoming increasingly clear that platelets play an important role in the establishment of metastasis ...

C-Type Lectin-Like Receptor 2 (CLEC-2)
2016C-type lectin-like receptor 2 (CLEC-2) has been identified as a receptor for a platelet-activating snake venom, rhodocytin. CLEC-2 elicits powerful platelet activation signals in a manner dependent on Src, Syk kinases, and phospholipase Cγ2, similar to the collagen receptor glycoprotein (GP) VI/FcRγ-chain complex.

The cytotoxicity of mouse natural killer (NK) cells in response to pathological changes in target cells is regulated via the Nkrp1b receptor. Here, we characterized the Nkrp1b structure and structural features (stalk, loop, and oligomerization state) that affect its interactions.

The C-type lectin-like receptors of Dectin-1 cluster in natural killer gene complex
Glycoconjugate Journal, 2012Natural killer gene complex (NKC) encodes a group of proteins with a single C-type lectin-like domain, (CTLD) which can be subdivided several subfamilies according to their structures and expression patterns. The receptors containing the conserved calcium binding sites in the CTLD fold belong to group II of C-type lectin superfamily and are expressed ...
