This graphical abstract illustrates the protective role and molecular mechanism of the circadian rhythm‐related gene KLF10, identified as a diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target in anxiety‐depressive disorder. Model establishment and phenotypes: An anxiety‐depression model was successfully established by chronic restraint stress combined with ...

Catalytic strain‐release ring opening and functionalizations of 1‐azabicyclo[1.1.0]butanes (ABBs) represent a promising strategy for accessing diverse azetidine products. These transformations proceed via polar pathways, radical pathways, and hybrid mechanisms that combine both.

1,8‐DHN is an important intermediate to form complex aromatic ring systems. Phenol‐coupling reactions are important for the dimerization of two molecules. Here, we show that a fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme catalyzes specific C─C bonds. ABSTRACT Dihydroxynaphthalene (DHN) derivatives are precursors of biologically important molecules, including melanin ...

Multivalent, ligand‐directed molecular beacons enable fluorescence turn‐on detection of cell‐surface receptors in living cells. The probes strongly engage closely spaced membrane receptors and exhibit conformation‐dependent fluorescence enhancement at the cell surface, enabling wash‐free receptor imaging, inhibitor screening, and functional evaluation ...

Evidence for a Cu(II)‐Catalysed CuAAC Reaction: A Combined Experimental and Computational Study
A new mechanistic pathway for the CuAAC reaction has been found to operate under specific reaction conditions. The pathway is catalysed by Cu(II) through a self‐assembled dinuclear Cu(II) complex that incorporates the triazole product. Computational analysis and assessment of generality are reported.

Structure and Function of a Multi‐Megadalton Virus‐Like Proteolytic Dodecahedron
Zuzalysin, a virulence metallopeptidase of the periodontal pathogen Porphyromonas gingivalis, is secreted as a latent, flexible ≈95‐kDa monomer. Calcium triggers cysteine‐switch activation and hierarchical assembly into pentamers, bipentamers, tripentamers, and a ≈5.6‐MDa, ≈355‐Å dodecahedron. Structures at 1.8–3.6 Å reveal a virus‐sized catalytic cage

Difluoromethylenation of Alkynes: Streamlined Access to Allyl Difluorides
Stabilizing primary oxocarbenium in HF/pyridine unlocks a direct alkyne difluoromethylenation – an efficient route to synthetically‐relevant allyl difluorides in a single step. ABSTRACT A direct difluoromethylenation of alkynes has been developed using HF/pyridine as a dual acidic and fluorinating medium. The reaction proceeds via in situ generation of

NHC‐Copper(I)‐Mediated Functionalization of White Phosphorus
White phosphorus is functionalized by N‐heterocyclic carbene supported copper(I) complexes through redox‐neutral steps. Treatment of the resulting complexes with electrophiles releases the ligands from the metal center as asymmetrically substituted organophosphorus butterfly compounds.

Cobalt‐Catalyzed [2σ+2π] Cycloaddition via Site‐Selective Capture of Bicyclobutane Diradical
We report a Co(II)‐catalyzed strategy that combines thermal activation of bicyclo[1.1.0]butane (BCBs) with site‐selective radical capture to furnish head‐to‐head fused bicyclo[2.1.1]hexanes via [2σ+2π] cycloaddition with indoles. Detailed mechanistic studies (31P NMR, EPR, CV, and DFT) support the catalytic pathway, while phosphine‐oxide trapping and X‐
