Effects of C1 inhibitor on endothelial cell activation in a rat hind limb ischemia-reperfusion injury model.

open access: yes, 2018
OBJECTIVE Ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is a major clinical problem linked to vascular surgery. Currently, no drugs to prevent or to treat I/R injury are approved for clinical use.

Dual Cytoplasmic and Chloroplastic Mechanisms Fine‐Tune Chloroplast Division through ARC3 Protein Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ARC3 levels are controlled by cytosolic and chloroplast proteolytic systems. PUB52 mediates ARC3 precursor ubiquitination and degradation in the cytosol, while CLPC1 promotes ARC3 degradation in chloroplasts, where ARC2 protects ARC3 from excessive breakdown. Disrupting these components causes chloroplast division defects, placing them upstream of ARC3.

Hereditary angioedema: how to approach it at the emergency department?

open access: yesEinstein (São Paulo)
Angioedema attacks are common causes of emergency care, and due to the potential for severity, it is important that professionals who work in these services know their causes and management.

Aktivierung der plasmatischen Kaskadensysteme bei Sepsis: Rolle von C1-Inhibitor

open access: yes, 1999
During sepsis the complement system, the contact activation system and the coagulation cascade are activated. Activation of these plasmatic cascades contributes to the development of multiple organ failure and the high mortality rate of severe sepsis and

Endogenous C1-inhibitor production and expression in the heart after acute myocardial infarction

open access: yes, 2015
Complement activation contributes significantly to inflammation-related damage in the heart after acute myocardial infarction. Knowledge on factors that regulate postinfraction complement activation is incomplete however.

FUCA2 Sustains AKT Signaling and Suppresses Senescence by Antagonizing FUT3‐Mediated ErbB3 Fucosylation in Lung Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While targeted therapies have improved outcomes in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), many patients still lack targetable mutations. Here, we identified alpha‐L‐fucosidase 2 (FUCA2) as a crucial driver of LUAD by preventing cellular senescence. Mechanistically, through the restriction of fucosyltransferase 3 (FUT3)‐mediated α‐1,3‐fucosylation of ...

Érzékeny C1-inhibitor fehérje mérési módszer kidolgozása

open access: yes, 2016
A C1-inhibitor (C1-INH) egy szerin proteáz gátló glikoprotein, ami a homeosztázis fenntartásához fontos kaszkád-szerű plazma enzim rendszerek egyik fő szabályozója.

Tumor‐Intrinsic ARHGEF3 Enhances Antitumor Immunity by Promoting T‐Cell Infiltration and Limiting Myeloid Cell‐Mediated Immunosuppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ARHGEF3 is broadly downregulated across human cancers and correlates with patient prognosis. Tumor‐intrinsic ARHGEF3 activates the RHOA–ROCK–PTEN cascade to inhibit AKT signaling, thereby promoting chemokine‐driven T‐cell infiltration and relieving lipid‐mediated myeloid immunosuppression.

Introgressed Variation in TaMYB7‐A1 Drives Graded Dormancy and Climate‐Adaptive Pre‐Harvest Sprouting Resistance in Wheat

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TaMYB7‐A1 directly activates TaABI5 to enhance ABA signaling and regulate ABA‐GA homeostasis, enforcing seed dormancy. Its superior allele, derived from wild einkorn introgression, harbors a MITE insertion that elevates expression and two amino acid substitutions that enhance transcriptional activity, collectively generating graded PHS resistance for ...
