Hydrothermal Alkali‐Assisted Growth of Highly In‐Plane Crystallized Poly(Heptazine Imide) for Photocatalytic H2O2 Production

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A new re‐crystallization strategy was employed to design a highly crystallized poly(heptazine imide) photocatalyst, achieving strong light absorption capacity, accelerated separation/migration of photocarriers, and enhanced proton extraction capability simultaneously.

Enhancing Plateau Capacity of Binder‐Free and Self‐Supported Napkin‐Based Hard Carbon Anodes for Sodium‐Ion Batteries Via a Pre‐Oxidation Modulation Strategy

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Precise regulation of preoxidation time and carbonization temperature in biomass napkin‐derived hard carbon generates abundant closed pores and ultramicropores, significantly enhancing the capacity in the low‐potential plateau region (the high plateau capacity of 266 mAh g−1) and thereby achieving highly reversible sodium‐ion storage (395 mAh g−1 at 30

Mitigating Structural Degradation in Hydrated V2O5 for Proton Batteries through Nanoconfinement with a Holey Graphene Matrix

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
HrGO‐supported and confined water‐assisted synergy for faster proton transport in the V2O5 resulted in ultra‐long life over 10 000 cycles at high current density of 1 A g−1. A reaction kinetics study of the ultra‐long cyclability via first principle DFT calculation is also presented. Proton‐based electrochemistry offers a promising solution to the cost
