RIMA HAS C22

Alloy Digest, 2002
Abstract RIMA HAS C22 is a Ni-Cr-Mo-W-type consumable with a nominal composition of Ni, 22% Cr, 13.5% Mo, and 3% W, and it is used to join high-molybdenum-containing corrosion-resistant alloys to themselves and each other by tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding.

Determination of C22:5 and C22:6 marine fatty acids in pork fat with Fourier transform mid-infrared spectroscopy

Meat Science, 2005
Fatty acids in samples (n=74) of pork adipose tissue were measured with a Fourier transform mid-infrared (FT-MIR) spectrometer and by gas chromatography. The measured absorption spectra provided information to estimate partial least squares regression models for fatty acid groups, the iodine value and several fatty acids.

SAE 1020, CEN C22 STEEL DATA SURVEY

Alloy Digest, 2022
Abstract 1020, C22, C22E, and C22R are wrought low-carbon non-alloy steels that are used in the normalized, cold worked, or quenched and tempered condition. These steels are widely used for lightly and moderately stressed parts that require higher strength levels than can be achieved by the lower carbon grades, and also for applications ...

Stereocontrolled Synthesis of the C8–C22 Fragment of Rhizopodin

Organic Letters, 2011
A convergent synthesis of the central C8-C22 core of the potent macrolide antibiotic rhizopodin is reported. Notable features of the stereocontrolled approach include an asymmetric reverse prenylation of an alcohol using a method of Krische, a thiazolium catalyzed transformation of an epoxyaldehyde as described by Bode, and a late-stage oxazole ...

Gas-phase electronic spectra of C18 and C22 rings

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2005
The electronic spectra of C18 and C22 in the 15150–36900cm−1 range have been detected in the gas phase by a mass-selective resonant two-color two-photon ionization technique coupled to a laser ablation source. The spectra were assigned to several electronic systems of monocyclic cumulenic isomers with a D9h symmetry for C18 and D11h for C22, based on ...

Sterol C22-Desaturase and Its Biological Roles

2012
The C22-unsaturated sterols are primarily found in fungi and plants. The C22-desaturation reaction is catalyzed by independent cytochrome P450 family proteins, CYP61 in fungi, and CYP710 in plants. We describe our extensive characterization studies of plant CYP710 family proteins and discuss possible evolutional relationships of C22-desaturation ...

Electronic Structure of Defects in Fcc-C22

MRS Proceedings, 2006
ABSTRACTClassical and ab-initio calculations were carried out on bulk defects and surfaces of the carbon allotrope Fcc-C22. The results revealed a number of possible defects with spin polarization and one with antiferromagnetic character. The surfaces were shown to be able to host magnetic polarization.
