ERRATA: "THERMODYNAMIC STUDY OF CORROSION AND INHIBITOR ADSORPTION PROCESSES ONTO C38 STEEL/PIPERAZINES/PHOSPHORIC ACID SYSTEMS" [PDF]
This paper describes the inhibition effect of 1-benzyl piperazine (P1) and bis(1-benzyl piperazine) thiuram disulfide (P2) towards the corrosion of C38 steel in 5.5 M H3PO4 solution by potentiodynamic polarization and weight loss methods. The influence of inhibitor concentration and temperature on inhibitory behavior of P2 were investigated.

Objective Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease characterized by tissue fibrosis, vasculopathy, and immune dysregulation. Our objectives were to quantify the overall and site‐specific cancer risks in patients with SSc compared to the general population, examine temporal trends in cancer incidence following SSc diagnosis, and explore ...

Cosmic ray muon computed tomography of spent nuclear fuel in dry storage casks
Radiography with cosmic ray muon scattering has proven to be a successful method of imaging nuclear material through heavy shielding. Of particular interest is monitoring dry storage casks for diversion of plutonium contained in spent reactor fuel. Using

Japanese Encephalitis Virus Genotype 5 Infectious Clone and Reporter System for Antiviral Evaluation
ABSTRACT The recent emergence of Japanese encephalitis virus genotype 5 (JEV5) has raised concerns regarding limited vaccine efficacy. Here, we report the construction of a full‐length infectious cDNA clone of JEV5 using a bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) system, based on a South Korea isolate, K15P38 strain.

Reaction Chemistry of Zirconocene(II) with Ferrocenyl Carbonyls§
The reaction behavior of ferrocenyl‐containing aldehyde and ketones towards a stabilised Zr(II) complex is presented. By increasing their steric demand, the typical dimeric metallaoxirane structure could be stepwise dismantled and the carbonyl coordination changed from side‐on to terminal, resulting in a unique Zr(II) compound.

Phosphoinositide Metabolism: Biochemistry, Physiology and Genetic Disorders
ABSTRACT Phosphatidylinositol, a glycerophospholipid with a myo‐inositol head group, can form seven different phosphoinositides (PItds) by phosphorylation at inositol carbons 3, 4 and/or 5. Over 50 kinases and phosphatases participate in PItd metabolism, creating an interconnected PItd network that allows for precise temporal and spatial regulation of ...
