Lipoprotein Association Fluorometry (LAF) as a Semi‐Quantitative Characterization Tool to Assess Extracellular Vesicle‐Lipoprotein Binding

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 14, Issue 10, October 2025.
Abstract Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are biological nanoparticles that play important roles in (patho)physiological processes and are promising new therapeutic and diagnostic tools. Recent evidence suggests that other circulating biological nanoparticles, primarily lipoproteins, bind to EVs, changing their biological identity.

Recent Developments in Few-Nucleon Systems

open access: yes, 2003
N-d elastic scattering is studied at different energies using one of the modern NN interactions, the Argonne v_{18} which explicitly includes the magnetic moment interaction between two nucleons.

The Onset of Depletion‐Induced Seismicity in Slip‐Weakening Faults With Interacting Peaked Shear Stresses: Uenishi and Rice Extended

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 130, Issue 10, October 2025.
Abstract Depletion‐induced fault slip and seismicity in the Groningen natural gas field are known to be caused by compaction of reservoir rock, most likely at locations in faults where reservoir rock juxtaposes non‐reservoir rock leading to severely‐peaked shear stresses at the reservoir‐fault corners.

Analysis of the vertex $D^*D^* \rho$ with the light-cone QCD sum rules

open access: yes, 2007
In this article, we analyze the vertex $D^*D^*\rho$ with the light-cone QCD sum rules. The strong coupling constant $g_{D^*D^*\rho}$ is an important parameter in evaluating the charmonium absorption cross sections in searching for the quark-gluon plasmas.

The Effect of Regioisomerism on the TADF Properties of Organic Dyes

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 3, Issue 5, September 18, 2025.
The properties of TADF emitters are highly dependent on the chosen electron donor and acceptor, as well as the π‐system that links them together. Herein, we show that regioisomerism affects the physical properties of spirobifluorene‐based systems in solution, thin films and crystals.

Evaluation of Risk Management Methods for Satsuma Mandarin [PDF]

open access: yes
Simulation of production budgets were used to compare net discounted returns and the distribution of returns under alternative risk-mitigation scenarios. Results indicate that the combination of freeze protection and crop insurance increases expected net

Single neutral heavy lepton production at electron-muon colliders

open access: yes, 2001
New heavy Majorana and Dirac neutrinos production at future electron-muon colliders are investigated. The production of a single heavy neutrino is shown to be more relevant than pair production when comparing cross sections and neutrino mass ranges.
