Vitamin D in the Middle East and North Africa
Purpose: The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region registers some of the lowest serum 25‑hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] concentrations, worldwide. We describe the prevalence and the risk factors for hypovitaminosis D, completed and ongoing clinical ...

Deep Volumetric Super‐Resolution Imaging in Thick Biological Specimens With Sparse Scanning SIM
Sparse scanning structured illumination microscopy (SS‐SIM) extends the axial depth in super‐resolution fluorescence imaging by combining rapid laser scanning, pixel‐addressed intensity modulation, and sCMOS camera detection. SS‐SIM yields 1.6× lateral and 1.7× axial resolution gains over wide‐field microscopy and enables imaging through 300–600 µm ...

The second‐generation crystalline sponge method allows structurally diverse molecular guests to crystallize under standardized crystallization conditions. The key is the predominant packing type of cages and anions in crystals. ABSTRACT Crystallization is typically highly sensitive to even minor structural differences in target molecules.

The modification of C60 nano-interlayers on the organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) based on 2,7-diocty[1]benzothieno-[3,2-b]benzothiophene (C8-BTBT)/SiO2 was addressed at both the electronic structure and device level.

A straightforward method is introduced to produce ion‐gel films with very low surface roughness by employing a solution‐shearing coating process. These ion‐gel films permit the growth of crystalline thin films of various small molecule organic semiconductor molecules directly on top of the ion‐gel layer, thereby enabling “inverted” small molecule ...

Regiodivergent C3 and C4 Amination of Quinolines via Radical and Ionic Pathways
A regiodivergent strategy converts a single N‐aminoquinolinium precursor into either C3‐ or C4‐aminated quinolines. Nucleophile‐induced dearomatization diverges into light‐driven N‐centered radical capture (C3) or base‐promoted SNAr (C4), enabling rapid assembly of aminoquinoline libraries and late‐stage diversification.

What if Newton’s Gravitational Constant Was Negative?
In this work, we seek a cosmological mechanism that may define the sign of the effective gravitational coupling constant, G. To this end, we consider general scalar-tensor gravity theories as they provide the field theory natural framework for the ...

Neuromorphic Motor Control with Electrolyte‐Gated Organic Synaptic Transistors
Electrolyte‐gated organic synaptic transistor (EGOST)‐based neuromorphic motor control systems integrate sensing, processing, and actuation by mimicking biological synapses. With advantages such as low power consumption, tunable synaptic plasticity, and mechanical flexibility, they are emerging as next‐generation core technologies for real‐time ...

Topology‐Aware Machine Learning for High‐Throughput Screening of MOFs in C8 Aromatic Separation
We screened 15,335 Computation‐Ready, Experimental Metal–Organic Frameworks (CoRE‐MOFs) using a topology‐aware machine learning (ML) model that integrates structural, chemical, pore‐size, and topological descriptors. Top‐performing MOFs exhibit aromatic‐enriched cavities and open metal sites that enable π–π and C–H···π interactions, serving as ...
