Integrated calculator programs for pharmacokinetic calculations
American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, 1982A package of integrated programs for calculating pharmacokinetic variables and drug-dosing regimens using a hand-held programmable calculator is described. Twelve pharmacokinetic programs, which were based on previously published pharmacokinetic equations, were developed for use in a HP-41C hand-held calculator (Hewlett-Packard).

The authors report on 48 patients with calculous pyelonephritis. Urinary obstruction was caused by renal calculi in 21 patients and ureteral calculi in 27. Urine cultures were positive in 87.5% and bacteremia was seen in 70%. The common organisms in urine and blood culture were E. coli, Proteus and Klebsiella. Septic shock occurred in 10 (20.8%) out of

Mathematical Logic Quarterly, 1977
In the present paper a characterization of ordinary combinatory logic and of combinatory logic with discriminators is given. The main difference between these theories consists, as the author demonstrates, in the features of representation of algorithms: in the first system the detour of Gödel numbering is needed, but in the second system it is avoided.
