The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

A Handoff Algorithm of Dynamic Decisions with Extenics for Wireless Cellular Networks
A traditional handoff algorithm always adopts stationary channel preservation schemes that cause the increase of call blocking probability (CBP) and the decrease of system utilization to reduce the call dropping probability (CDP) for handoff call.

The unrestricted blocking number in convex geometry
Let K be a convex body in \mathbb{R}^n. We say that a set of translates \left \{ K + \underline{u}_i \right \}_{i=1}^{p} block K if any other translate of K which touches K, overlaps one of K + \underline{u}_i, i = 1, . . . , p.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Call blocking in multi-services systems on one transmission link [PDF]
Future broadband integrated services digital networks (B-ISDN) are expected to use the Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) technology and support multiple services. In the multiservices context, three Connection Admission Control (CAC) strategies with guaranteed Grade of Services (GoS)are presented: Complete Sharing (CS), Complete Sharing with ...

Performance analysis of call admission control algorithm for wireless multimedia networks
In todays wireless networks different wireless multimedia services have diverse bandwidth and QOS requirements, which need to be guaranteed by the wireless cellular networks. The decision to admit or reject the new user call is made by the call admission

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Criminal Behaviour Associated with a Novel Mutation in the VPS13A-Gene Causing Chorea-Acanthocytosis
Heralded by obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety, chorea-acanthocytosis may initially present in a psychiatric setting. As insidious onset of involuntary movements is commonly precipitated by dopamine blocking agents, this may not prompt further ...
