Pose Estimation for General Cameras Using Lines
IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2015In this paper, we address the problem of pose estimation under the framework of generalized camera models. We propose a solution based on the knowledge of the coordinates of 3-D straight lines (expressed in the world coordinate frame) and their corresponding image pixels.

Camera Pose Estimation Using Frequency Analysis
2014 International Conference on Information Science & Applications (ICISA), 2014Camera pose estimation from image is one of the key issues in computer vision. Most existing approaches need embed a visual mark in the object's texture for camera pose estimation. However, a visual mark spoils the unity of the image. This paper introduces a novel pose estimation method using the spatial frequency domain analysis.

Joint Camera Pose Estimation and 3D Human Pose Estimation in a Multi-camera Setup
2015In this paper we propose an approach to jointly perform camera pose estimation and human pose estimation from videos recorded by a set of cameras separated by wide baselines. Multi-camera pose estimation is very challenging in case of wide baselines or in general when patch-based feature correspondences are difficult to establish across images.

3D Human Pose Estimation Using RGBD Camera
2021 IEEE International Conference on Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering and Intelligent Control Technology (CEI), 2021This work addresses a method to map the estimated 2D pose from a color image to 3D pose and obtain more accurate 3D keypoints. In this paper, the RGBD camera is used to simultaneously acquire color images and depth images. AlphaPose is used to estimate the 2D keypoints of the target, and the 2D keypoints are mapped to the corresponding depth maps to ...

Pose estimation for multi-camera systems
2017 IEEE International Conference on Unmanned Systems (ICUS), 2017We build a multi-camera platform and present a relevant approach for pose estimation of the multi-camera system with known internal camera parameters. The proposed approach is able to solve the pose estimation, for a three-camera system that main camera has overlapping views with the left camera and the right camera respectively. By taking advantage of

Pose Estimation for Multi-camera Systems
2004We propose an approach for pose estimation based on a multi-camera system with known internal camera parameters. We only assume for the multi-camera system that the cameras of the system have fixed orientations and translations between each other. In contrast to existing approaches for reconstruction from multi-camera systems we introduce a rigid ...

Head Pose Estimation in First-Person Camera Views
2014 22nd International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 2014In this paper we present a new method for head pose real-time estimation in ego-vision scenarios that is a key step in the understanding of social interactions. In order to robustly detect head under changing aspect ratio, scale and orientation we use and extend the Hough-Based Tracker which allows to follow simultaneously each subject in the scene. In

Pose Estimation for Non-Central Cameras Using Planes
Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems, 2014In this paper we study pose estimation for general non-central cameras, using planar targets. The method proposed uses non-minimal data. Using the homography matrix to represent the transformation between the world and camera coordinate systems, we describe a non-iterative algorithm for pose estimation.

Unsupervised camera pose estimation through human mesh recovery
Proceedings of the 13th International Conference on Distributed Smart Cameras, 2019Camera resectioning is essential in computer vision and 3D reconstruction to estimate the position of matching pinhole cameras in 3D worlds. While the internal camera parameters are usually known or can be easily computed offline, in camera networks extrinsic parameters need to be computed each time a camera changes position, thus not allowing for ...
