Variation in the ureide content of Jack Bean during the reproductive stages in response to nitrate
Nitrogen is frequently the limiting mineral nutrient for plant productivity and it is essential to obtain an understanding of how this element is assimilated and its metabolism regulated, in crop plants.

Schiff bases and their metal complexes as urease inhibitors – A brief review
Schiff bases, an aldehyde- or ketone-like compounds in which the carbonyl group is replaced by an imine or azomethine, are some of the most widely used organic compounds. Indeed, they are widely used for industrial purposes and also exhibit a broad range

Antifungal properties of Canavalia ensiformis urease and derived peptides
Ureases (EC 3.5.1.5) are metalloenzymes that hydrolyze urea into ammonia and CO(2). These proteins have insecticidal and fungicidal effects not related to their enzymatic activity. The insecticidal activity of urease is mostly dependent on the release of internal peptides after hydrolysis by insect digestive cathepsins.

Vinca alkaloids effects on the morphological characters of Canavalia ensiformis
Productivity and quality of crops can be increased through polyploidy plants induced by antimitotic compounds such as vinka alkaloids. The use of vinka alkaloids has never been applied to Sword bean (Canavalia ensiformis), a tropical legume belonging to the Fabaceae family.

Given the prominence of 19F‐bioNMR in structural research, fluorinated glycans hold enormous potential in glycomimetic frameshift design. However, challenges associated with the stereocontrolled synthesis of these disruptive actors continue to frustrate advances. To address this, the automated synthesis of selectively C‐2 fluorinated glycans related to

Constructing Cu/Cu2O Heterogeneous Interface for Efficient Urea Electrosynthesis
In this study, a Cu/Cu2O heterogeneous interface with dual active sites is prepared for electrocatalytic CO2 and NO3− coupling to urea. The catalyst shows high yield rates of 1156.63 mmol g−1 h−1 and FE of 29.67% at −1.0 V (vs RHE), which is significantly higher than Cu and Cu2O, highlighting the advantages of heterogeneous interface synergistic ...
