Somatostatin analogues, such as lanreotide, have shown efficacy in managing other neuroendocrine tumors. Retrospective studies suggest that lanreotide may induce partial response or disease stabilization in patients with advanced MCC.

Small, Volume 22, Issue 55, 1 October 2026.We developed core‐shell iron oxide@ZIF‐8 magnetic‐MOF nanohybrids via a seeded growth method for magnetic hyperthermia‐triggered drug delivery. Cubic cores and thinner shells maximized heating. In‐situ doxorubicin encapsulation achieved 98% loading, better than surface encapsulation. Polymer coating improved stability.
