Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGIC TARGETS IN PERSONALIZED PSYCHIATRY
The advances made on genetic influence on response and side effects of psychiatric pharmacotherapy improved the concept of personalized psychiatry. The current evidence suggests that testing can be useful in patients who did not respond or tolerate at ...

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Allelic diversity at orthologous candidate genes for drought tolerance in cereal crops: Example of the ASR gene family [PDF]
Drought is a major abiotic stress. Many candidate genes have been proposed during the last years to explain aspects of tolerance to drought stress, for a specific crop and in a specific environment.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Variability of some genes of the somatotropic axis in the Piemontese cattle breed
Growth hormone (GH) is a major participant in the control of several complex physiological processes, including growth and metabolism. The growth promoting aspects are generally mediated by the insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), produced primarily in ...
