High-Capacity ECG Steganography with Smart Offset Coefficients

The authors present an economic way to hide patient diagnosis information in electrocardiogram (ECG) signal based on smart offset coefficient. Simulations indicated that hiding capacity is larger than existing techniques while the perceived quality is good.

In this article, we use the absolute-value-decision policy and effectively promote the SNR performance of the Yang and Wang’s scheme [9]. Besides, there is no need of using extra overhead for the intended receiver. Furthermore, the hidden message can be designed on-demand with various size.
