The over-strength coefficient is one of the key factors for the seismic safety of a structure. For RC frames, the infill wall may improve the lateral bearing capacity, while the seismic demand increases as well, which leads to the unexpected seismic ...

TO CALCULATION OF THE COEFFICIENTS OF AUTOMATIC REGULATOR OF TUNNEL FAN CAPACITY
Analysis of the existing methods for calculating the coefficients of the proportional-integral regulator of the automatic control system for the capacity of the axial fan of the shallow subway was carried out. The technique of calculating the controller coefficients in the Mathlab (Simulink) environment is presented.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

SEISMIC EVALUATION AND RETROFITTING CODAL PROVISIONS –STATE OF THE ART
Seismic evaluation is one of the important ways to validate that buildings can resist the earthquake loads. The seismic evaluation is classified into global and local checking; the global includes the overall lateral deflection and inter-story drift, the

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Optimization problems with uncertain objective coefficients using capacities
AbstractWe study a general optimization problem in which coefficients in the objective are uncertain. We use capacities (lower probabilities) to model such uncertainty. Two popular criteria in imprecise probability, namely maximality and E-admissibility, are employed to compare solutions.

Estimation of CO2 storage capacity coefficients in geologic formations
AbstractThis work investigates effective CO2 storage capacity of a field case example, the Ketzin reservoir (CO2SINK) in Germany with highly heterogeneous permeability and porosity. The present concept of storage capacity coefficients is briefy explained and then extended to widen the usability in the long term.
