Capillary electrophoresis on microchip
Electrophoresis, 2000Capillary electrophoresis and related techniques on microchips have made great strides in recent years. This review concentrates on progress in capillary zone electrophoresis, but also covers other capillary techniques such as isoelectric focusing, isotachophoresis, free flow electrophoresis, and micellar electrokinetic chromatography. The material and

Thermostating in capillary electrophoresis
Chromatographia, 1997The use of high voltages across a electrophoresis capillary will increase the temperature of the buffer due to Joule heating. As a result temperature control in CE is rather important since variations in the buffer temperature will result in changes in the pi-I of the buffer, peak shape, migration time, reproducibility, efficiency, 3-D structure of ...

Cyclic capillary electrophoresis
ELECTROPHORESIS, 2002A strategy is described here for increasing both the resolution and the flexibility of capillary electrophoresis performed in a sieving medium of ungelled polymer. This strategy is based on analysis and, sometimes, re-analysis that is done in several stages of constant-field electrophoresis. Enhancement-stages are between the analysis-stages.

Multidimensional capillary electrophoresis
ELECTROPHORESIS, 2014Multidimensional separation where two or more orthogonal displacement mechanisms are combined is a promising approach to increase peak capacity in CE. The combinations allow dramatic improvement of analytical performance since the total peak capacity is given by a product of the peak capacities of all methods.
