Russian Journal of Genetics: Applied Research, 2012Screening of the duration of the vegetation period has been performed in a collection of Capsicum annuum var. annuum L. including more than 350 cultivars, and reliable and versatile donors of the feature have been detected. The advantage of the variety type Fasciculatum Sturt with regard to early and uniform ripening has been confirmed.
