Auf dem Weg zu chromoselektiven Transformationen in biologischen Systemen: Perspektiven und Herausforderungen

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Efficient OLEDs Fabricated by Solution Process Based on Carbazole and Thienopyrrolediones Derivatives

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
Four low molecular weight compounds—three of them new, two of them with carbazole (Cz) as functional group and the other two with thienopyrroledione (TPD) group—were used as emitting materials in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Nitration of 5,11-dihydroindolo[3,2-b]carbazoles and synthetic applications of their nitro-substituted derivatives

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2017
A new general approach to double nitration of 6,12-di(hetero)aryl-substituted and 6,12-unsubstituted 5,11-dialkyl-5,11-dihydroindolo[3,2-b]carbazoles by acetyl nitrate has been developed to obtain their 2,8-dinitro and 6,12-dinitro derivatives ...

Influence of thermal maturity on carbazole distributions in coal source rocks during compaction pyrolysis experiments

open access: yesScientific Reports
Carbazole compounds are widely used in determining the direction of petroleum migration, but the effect of thermal maturity on carbazoles is still ambiguity. In this paper, using compaction pyrolysis simulation experiments, artificial mature samples with

Neuroprotective Evaluation of Murraya Carbazoles: In Vitro and Docking Insights into Their Anti-AChE and Anti-Aβ Activities

open access: yesMolecules
The present study investigated the neuroprotective potential of the Murraya carbazole derivatives murrayanol, mahanimbine, murrayafoline A, and 9-methyl-9H-carbazole-2-carbaldehyde using in silico and in vitro assays.

Electronic Spectra of Carbazole Derivatives

open access: yes, 1967
The shift in the longest wavelength absorption band of substituted carbazole is theoretically calculated. The calculation shows fair agreement with the experimentally determined values.

Toward Chromoselective Transformations in Biological Systems: Perspectives and Challenges

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Controlling biological systems with small‐molecule chromophores has evolved into a powerful strategy and is applied from chemical biology to medicine. However, the complexity of in vivo systems cannot be matched by a single wavelength of light. Developing methods to combine and individually control multiple chromophores is crucial.

[4 + 2]-Cycloadditions to 1 '-Phenyl-Substituted 3-Vinylindoles with N-Phenylmaleimide: An Access to New [a]Anellated Carbazole Derivatives

open access: yesCHIMIA, 1987
The AlCl3-catalyzed [4 + 2]-cycloaddition of T-phenyl-substituted 3-vinylindoles with N-phenylmaleimide gives rise to new anellated carbazole derivatives with a high endo-preference.

Unlocking Catalyst Activation as a Critical Bottleneck in Cross‐Coupling Reactions: Room‐Temperature Couplings of Weak Nucleophiles Enabled by [Pd(1‐MeNAP)TFA]2 Precatalysts

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
In many Pd‐catalyzed cross‐couplings, catalyst performance has been found to be limited by catalyst activation. Methylnaphthyl (MeNAP) palladium trifluoroacetate dimers are presented as easy‐to‐store and easy‐to‐handle precursors, which rapidly activate under reaction conditions, even when only weakly coordinating, non‐reducing nucleophiles are present.

Regulating room temperature phosphorescence of carbazole quaternization pyridine in polymer through Hofmeister effect

open access: yesAggregate
Hofmeister effect is a famous physical chemistry phenomenon that was reported a hundred years ago, which firstly refers to the action of certain salts to decrease the solubility of proteins while others increase.
