This study identified a natural compound, isoquercitrin, which significantly alleviated kidney inflammation and fibrosis by inhibiting STAT3 activity. When the normal kidney is subjected to injurious stimuli, it can lead to persistent activation of ATG5. The activation of ATG5 promotes HSP90‐HIF‐1α interaction, resulting in stabilization of HIF‐1α and subsequent activation of glycolysis. A Transition Metal‐Free Approach for the Conversion of Real‐Life Cellulose‐Based Biomass into Formate

A visible‐light‐mediated method has been developed for the direct conversion of biomass into formate at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure. This approach achieves the selective generation of hydroxyl radicals, which subsequently transform sugars, cellulose, and hemicellulose into formate.
