Input polarization-independent multi-channel switching using cascaded long-period fiber grating and polarization-maintaining fiber [PDF]
Novel multi-wavelength switching filters based on cascaded long-period fiber grating (LPG) and polarization-maintaining fiber (PMF) in a Sagnac loop configuration are proposed and experimentally demonstrated.

Statistics of cascaded Rayleigh fading channels with arbitrary correlation [PDF]
Exact expressions for the probability density function (PDF) and cumulative distribution function (CDF) of cascaded Rayleigh fading channels with arbitrary correlation but not necessarily identically distributed are derived. Furthermore, the PDF and CDF of the instantaneous signal‐to‐noise ratio are obtained.

Cascaded
In this paper, the cascaded α - μ fading distribution is first introduced and mathematically characterized, which arises as a generalization of the cascaded Rayleigh, Weibull, and Nakagami-m fading distribution, by properly selecting fading

Cascaded generalised-K fading channel
A versatile fading distribution that generalises many commonly used models for multi-path and shadow fading is the so-called generalised-K (KG) distribution. By considering the product of N independent but not necessarily identically distributed (n.i.d.) squared KG random variables (RVs), we derive exact closed-form expressions for the moment ...

A Novel Two-Step Channel Estimation Method for RIS-Assisted mmWave Systems
In this work, we resolve the cascaded channel estimation problem and the reflected channel estimation problem for the reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted millimeter-wave (mmWave) systems. The novel two-step method contains modified multiple

Cascade: Channel-Aware Structured Cosparse Audio Declipper [PDF]
This work features a new algorithm, CASCADE, which leverages a structured cosparse prior across channels to address the multichannel audio declipping problem. CASCADE technique outperforms the state-of-the-art method A-SPADE applied on each channel separately in all tested settings, while retaining similar runtime.
