Chemo‐Enzymatic Route for Covalent Cellulose Fiber Dyeing
This work presents a proof of concept for a chemo‐enzymatic approach to the covalent dyeing of cotton fibers. Laccase/TEMPO oxidation introduces aldehyde groups, enabling subsequent reductive amination with amino dyes. Excellent color homogeneity and wash fastness were demonstrated using acid red 33, highlighting the robustness of the approach and its ...

Genes of the serotonergic and dopaminergic pathways and their interaction affect the expression of Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia (BPSD). [PDF]
Although there is evidence for the involvement of genes of serotonergic and dopaminergic systems in the manifestation of the Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia (BPSD), genetic association studies are contradictory.

Distribution, regulation and physiological roles of catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) in rodents [PDF]
Catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) metabolises catecholamines such as dopamine, noradrenaline and adrenaline, which are well-characterised neurotransmitters that play important roles in the regulation of physiological processes.
