Expanding the SIAH1‐Associated Phenotypic Spectrum: Insights From Loss‐of‐Function Variants
ABSTRACT SIAH1 encodes for a RING‐type E3 ubiquitin ligase involved in protein ubiquitination. More specifically, it positively regulates Wnt signaling through promoting the accumulation of β‐catenin and mediates ubiquitination and degradation of Akt3 in neural development.

Lrat+ quiescent hepatic stellate cells (qHSC) give rise to Lrat+Fbln2+ activated HSC (aHSC) in alcohol‐associated hepatitis and this subpopulation is highly profibrotic, inflammatory, and immunoregulatory based on their single cell transcriptomic profile. Abstract Background and Aims Relative roles of HSCs and portal fibroblasts in alcoholic hepatitis (

Abstract Background Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) remains a devastating neurological disorder with limited therapeutic options. Neural stem cell (NSC)‐based therapies have emerged as a potential regenerative approach, yet the molecular mechanisms regulating NSC behavior require further elucidation.

Abstract Hepatocellular adenomas (HCAs) are benign liver tumors associated with bleeding or malignant transformation. Data on the indication for surgery are scarce. We analyzed indications and outcome of patients operated for HCAs < 50 mm compared to HCAs ≥ 50 mm. Changes in final postoperative diagnosis were assessed.
