A review of skin microbiome and new challenges to cosmetic microbiome‐friendly formulations
Microbiome‐friendly concepts offer new perspectives for a healthy relationship between cosmetic use and the skin microbiome, especially the interaction of non‐biotic cosmetic ingredients with the skin, requiring further studies to clarify the dynamics between the skin microbiome and different classes of cosmetic ingredients.

A positive feedback loop between mTORC1 and cathelicidin promotes skin inflammation in rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder whose pathogenesis is unclear. Here, several lines of evidence were provided to demonstrate that mTORC1 signaling is hyperactivated in the skin, especially in the epidermis, of both rosacea patients and a ...

Beneficial impact of cathelicidin on hypersensitivity pneumonitis treatment-In vivo studies.
Cathelicidin (CRAMP) is a defence peptide with a wide range of biological responses including antimicrobial, immunomodulatory and wound healing. Due to its original properties the usefulness of CRAMP in the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis was assessed in

Biomolecular Changes Upon Ablative Laser Therapy of the Skin: A Scoping Review
(Fractional) ablative laser therapy results in a wound healing response characterized by an inflammatory phase, dermal matrix degradation, and remodeling, collagenesis and elastogenesis. This is characterized by an increase in metalloproteinases, collagen type I, III, VII, and tropoelastin.

Antimicrobial peptides and eicosanoids : roles and interactions in inflammation and host defense [PDF]
Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) have a broad spectrum of activities and exert their functions by both direct killing of microbes through the interaction with the microbial membrane, and modulation of innate and adaptive immunity of the host.

The exposomal imprint on rosacea: More than skin deep
Rosacea reflects systemic and environmental interactions, not just a skin disorder. Key factors include environmental triggers, genetic and microbiome influences, diagnostic gaps in skin of colour and social determinants. Advances in multi‐omics and exposome integration highlight pathways towards precision medicine, prevention and equitable, patient ...
