Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the leading cause of death from gynecologic malignancies and has a poor prognosis due to relatively unspecific early symptoms, and thus often advanced stage, metastasized cancer at presentation. Metastasis of EOC occurs

Targeting Lactate and Lactylation in Cancer Metabolism and Immunotherapy
Lactate, once deemed a metabolic waste, emerges as a central regulator of cancer progression. This review elucidates how lactate and its epigenetic derivative, protein lactylation, orchestrate tumor metabolism, immune suppression, and therapeutic resistance.

Evolutionary History of Cathepsin L (L-like) Family Genes in Vertebrates
Cathepsin L family, an important cysteine protease found in lysosomes, is categorized into cathepsins B, F, H, K, L, S, and W in vertebrates. This categorization is based on their sequence alignment and traditional functional classification, but the ...

Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) transform breast cancer therapy, yet resistance limits their durability. Emerging evidence reveals that ADC failure is not solely tumor‐intrinsic but shaped by dynamic tumor–microenvironment interactions that alter drug delivery, processing, and response.

Disulfide‐Bridged Ru Complex–Mediated Photo‐Disulfidptosis for Colorectal Cancer Therapy
In this work, a binuclear ruthenium complex, RuSSRu was developed for efficient colorectal cancer (CRC) treatment. The synergistic interaction between disulfidptosis and lysosomal damage‐induced apoptosis induced by RuSSRu amplified tumor cell death. This innovative approach offers a potent therapeutic strategy for CRC.

3D Bioprinted Fat‐Myocardium Model Unravels the Role of Adipocyte Hypertrophy in Atrial Dysfunction
A human‐derived 3D bioprinted fat–myocardium model is developed to investigate how adipocyte hypertrophy drives atrial dysfunction in obesity. Palmitate‐induced adipocyte hypertrophy promotes adipose dysfunction that impairs atrial cardiomyocyte metabolism and electrophysiology through both paracrine and direct interactions. This platform recapitulates
